Williamson was the best player for the Durban Super Giants. The 34-year-old batsman anchored the innings with a brilliant half-century, scoring 60 runs off 40 balls. His knock included three fours and two sixes, finishing with a strike rate of 150.00. Williamson’s innings was instrumental in achieving a formidable total for his team, as he stood out among the Super Giants batsmen as the only player to reach the fifty-run mark.

The Durban Super Giants have set a huge target
Batting first, Durban Super Giants scored a whopping 209/4 in their allotted 20 overs. The contributions from the top and middle order, combined with Williamson’s brilliance, provided the team with a solid defensive total. In response, Pretoria Capitals came agonizingly close to pulling the chase. Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz he was sensational, knocking off 89 off just 43 balls. His overs, peppered with three fours and seven big sixes, kept the Capitals in the hunt. Gurbaz batted at an incredible strike rate of 206.98 but his heroics were not enough to get the Capitals over the line. The team finished on 207/6, trailing by just two runs.
