Sangha’s aggressive knock of 30 off 19 provided the platform but wickets at regular intervals kept the game level. At 100/4 in the 13th over, Thunder needed a steady hand, and Sam Billings rose to the occasion. The wicket-keeper batsman anchored the chase from his unbeaten 42, with support Nathan McAndrewan explosive 19 off seven deliveries. Their partnership ensured the Thunder comfortably crossed the line with seven balls to spare, despite some tight overs Jafer Chohan and Mitchell Perry.
