Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic resigned after weeks of mass protests for a fatal accident at a train station in the north of the country for which he was blamed for the corruption of the Government.
Demonstrations launched a collapse of the roof of the railway station in Novi Sad, SerbiaThe second is the largest city, November 1, killing 15 people. The public return because of the disaster has turned into the greatest challenge to the strong President Aleksandar Vucic in a firm grip on power, which has been in power since 2017.
The roof crashed after the renovation of the station by a consortium led by two Chinese companies, which also build a rail line between Budapest and Belgrade. Vucevic, a close ally of the president, was the mayor of Novi sad when construction works began.
