Freedom Owners Washington provide a Velsk fire franchise in £ 67.5 million
According to the ESPNCricinfo report, the Welsh Fire, based in Cardiff, attracted several bidders, and Sanjay Govil submitted a maximum of two sealed bids. The bid process was postponed due to intense competition for London Spirit.
Govil has secured a 49% stake in the Velski fire and will now enter the eight -week exclusivity period with Glavorgan, which holds the remaining 51% that the ECB has approved.
Washington freedom owners surpass Capri International, which owns Warriorz and Sharjah Warriors. Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney showed interest, but did not officially offer after the initial discussions last year.
Sanja Govil provides 49% stake in Velsk fire for £ 33 million
The report added that the franchise is estimated at £ 67.5 million, and Sanjay Govil will pay more than £ 33 million for their 49% of the team.
Govil is the president of the two US technological companies: Infinite Computer Solutions, the main technological services company, and Zyter, a health technology company. He entered the Christian world two years ago by buying a Washington Freedom in the Major League crisis. The franchise won the title in her second season.
ECB collects £ 278 million through a hundred role sales
The hosts of eight teams in a hundred received a 51% stake in their franchises. They can retain or sell while ECB sells the remaining 49%.
ECB has created £ 278 million in the last two days by selling 49% of roles in four hundred teams. It is significant that the funds will be distributed among 18 first-class counties, MCCs and Siroki Crizka. This financial incentive aims to ensure long -term stability of the county crunch for at least the next 20 years.
If the host decides to sell a part or all its share, 10% of revenue will be distributed among 18 counties of first-class counties and MCC, together with the income generated from the sale of ECB.
Eight hosts are Lord’s (Marylebone Crickket Club – MCC/London Spirit), Oval (Surrey/oval Invincibles), Southampton (Hampshire/Southern Brave), Cardiff (Glavorgan/Welsh Fire), Trent Bridge (Nottinghamshire/Trent Rocks) Warwicksshire/Birmingham Phoenix), Old Trafford (Lancashire/Manchester Originals) and Headinogley (Yorkshire/Northern Superchargers).
