The European giant about the loan agreement to take the former England international from Manchester United

According to reports, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have inquired about a loan move for Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.

Athletic claim the two clubs have made contact with United to gain an understanding of the financial package that would be required to take Rashford away from Old Trafford.

United are understood to be willing to either sell or loan Rashford this month in a bid to offload the player, who is believed to be earning more than £325,000-a-week.

The 27-year-old recently said he was “ready for a new challenge”, prompting suggestions his time at United could be coming to an end.

The Sun also claimed he was in talks with sports agency Stellar – they helped sign Gareth Bale’s £86million move to Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 – in a bid to speed up the move.

Rashford remains a tantalizing prospect for foreign clubs despite a largely miserable 18 months in which he failed to replicate his 30-goal form in all competitions in 2022-23.

The player has also made headlines for off-field indiscretions and has been accused of a lack of effort.

Dortmund are in shape to land a United player in the January window after signing winger Jadon Sancho on loan this time last year.

Sancho performed well in the Bundesliga and as a result secured a move to Chelsea in the summer.
