The Black Hawk Army helicopter collides to medium with a flight of American Airlines at the National Airport Reagan
The Black Hawk Army helicopter collided on a middle aircraft aircraft on Wednesday night at the National Airport of Reagan in Arlington, Virginia.
According to the Federal Air Force Administration, PSA’s regional aircraft Airlines Bombardier Crj700 collided with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter, while he was on the runway approach to the National Airport of Reagan at 9pm local time.
Caroline Leavitt White House secretary told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that President Donald Trump was aware of the situation, calling the situation tragic.
The dog acted as a flight 5342 for American Airlines, and he left Wichita, Kansas.
FAA and NTSB will explore. NTSB will conduct an investigation.
The Metropolitan District Police Directorate of Columbia said in a statement that more calls were received at 8:53 pm for the collision of an aircraft above the Potomac River.
“DC Fire and EMS, Metropolitan Police Directorate and several partner agencies currently coordinate search and rescue operation in Rijeka Potomac,” police said. “There are currently no confirmed victims’ data.”
American Airlines told Fox News Digital that they were aware of the report that the American Eagle Flight 5342, which manages the PSA, with the Wichitaw Service, Kansas (ICT) to the National Washington Reagan Airport, included in the incident. Further information was not available from the airline.
The fire and EMS department confirmed that firefighters were at the scene.
Video scenes show numerous emergency teams that respond.
One video posted in X and taken from a web camera at the Kennedy Center caught, which seems to be an explosion near the Potomac River.
Kansas Vlad Laura Kelley also said she was aware of the incident.
“I am aware that the plane that entered from Wichite was involved in a collision at the National Airport of Reagan,” she said. “I am active in contact with the authorities. My thoughts go out to those involved. I will share more information as they become available.”
Senator Roger Marshall, R-Kans, said in a post on X that he saw reports of a collision with DC helicopter and a Wichit’s input flight, Kansas.
“We are in contact with the authorities who work to get answers,” Marshall wrote. “Please join us in prayer for every passenger and their families.”
