The new variant comes equipped with a supervised software for full self -volume, which is an optional addition in the previous cars of the Y for $ 8000.
Tesla will start delivery of a new car in March.
With the launch, Tesla now cites four versions of the Y in the USA, and the new car costs the most and even more than a performance variant.
The new variant also has redesigned exterior, upgraded features from the inside and a slightly extended range of 320 miles (515 km), according to Tesla.
