Super Bowl champion Sean Landeta fumes at radio host for questioning grooming habits
Former New York Giants player Sean Landeta was none too pleased with one of his former teammates after he revealed what Landeta called a false and “embarrassing” locker room story from when they played together.
During an interview with a Philadelphia radio station, Landeta was asked about his ex The Eagles received Freddie Mitchell claim that Landeta, who played for the Eagles from 1999 to 2002, would groom “sauna areas” in front of other players.
The two-time Super Bowl champion remained calm, but the question clearly irked him.

“Now, my first thing is — do you want to call me during a prime time radio show in Philadelphia and talk to me about something like that? Are you kidding me,” he said in response to 94 WIP host Spike Eskin.
“I like Freddie. Good team-mate and all. But what he said is absolutely false. I completely deny that I was in a sauna with Jon Ritchie. It never happened.
“I’m disappointed in Mr. Mitchell. I’ll have to talk to him about it.”

But Landeta, who won both championships with the Giants, turned his attention back to radio hosts.
“You call it fun, but one guy embarrasses another guy by talking about things. Trust me, I understand how that works. I’m very disappointed that he said that, especially when it’s not true.”
Landeta went a step further, saying that the question was an attempt to grab the viewership.
“I think the Eagles have a playoff game coming up so they don’t talk about guys in saunas,” Landeta said.
