The BBC’s Emma Vardy saw bullets strewn across the streets as she toured the fires in Los Angeles, California on Thursday. Some were spent casings while other bullets remained alive. As the fires burned, the BBC heard bangs, pops and explosions, sounds that may have been bullets firing in the heat.
