SA against PAK [WATCH] Tristan Stubbs bombarded with jerseys and caps as he fulfills fan requests for autographs
Cricket fans tend to collect memorabilia of their favorite player, wherever they can. Fans in South Africa are no different from this tendency as was evident on Day 3 of the 2nd Test between South Africa and Pakistan. Young South African batsman Tristan Stubbs he found himself in the midst of additional responsibility.
Tristan Stubbs faces a sea of autograph collectibles
The 24-year-old reached the boundary line as a fielder but found himself in the middle of items collected by the crowd on the South African players to sign. Stubbs felt the need to fulfill the wishes of Proteas fans and a range of items such as balls, cricket bats, stumps, jerseys, caps among others to autograph. However, Stubbs was unable to commit to every item as the openers game was underway Babar Azam and Shan Masood on the bend.

Pakistan’s heroic stand to save the test
Pakistan were in a bleak start to the match against South Africa adding a mammoth 615 runs in their first innings with a double century from Ryan Rickelton and tons from the captain Temba Bavuma and Kyle Verreynne. In reply, Pakistan were bowled out in their first innings for 194 runs, allowing them to resume.
Pakistan were desperate to get runs on the board to save the Test match and the openers made a solid start to the second innings. Skipper Masood provided stability to Pakistan’s innings for a long time and made a heroic stand in front of the South African pacers. Masood had earlier scored 145 runs off 251 balls Kwena Maphak took his wicket in the 84th over of the innings. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha they are currently under fire from Pakistan who are trying to surpass the South Africans’ first innings total and somehow save the Test match.
