Ruben Amorim reveals Man Utd’s plan for Marcus Rashford against Liverpool


Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has revealed that Marcus Rashford is likely to miss Sunday’s visit to Liverpool due to illness.

Former exiles forward returned to his first team on match day against Newcastle United on Monday night. Rashford was left on the bench while his teammates endured the nuts and bolts of breaking in front of their own fans, only to eventually escape with a 2-0 loss.

Amorim explained that the England international – who had missed the previous four matches amid intense speculation surrounding an imminent departure – was always available for selection, but noted that “we have a lot of players out there”.
