South Korean prosecutors have indicted the recalled President Yoon Suk Yela to run the rebellion after briefly introduced an extraordinary state of last month, according to the opposition party in the country, as well as several reports of the South Korean media.

The move published on Sunday makes Yoon the first current South Korean president to face an indictment and a criminal investigation, writes the Washington Post.
Yoon became the second conservative president who was recalled in South Korea when parliament was led by the opposition voted the suspension of his duties December 14th.

On Friday, CIO handed over Yoon’s case to the Prosecutor’s Office in Seoul and asked him to accuse him of rebellion, abuse of authority and obstruction of the National Assembly.
