Ravens, Bills brace for cold temperatures, possible snow in AFC divisional round game
The Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens face off in the most anticipated game of the NFL divisional round this weekend. But Sunday’s competition will carry extra weight with cold temperatures and wintry weather expected around kick-off.
Hosted by The Bills Ravens in Buffalo at 6:30 p.m., and the players will receive a not-so-warm welcome upon arrival at Highmark Stadium.
FOX Weather is reporting low temperatures in the mid-teens with snow expected throughout the game. An arctic blast is expected to hit the area early Sunday morning and last into the next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, wind chills could reach the single digits by the start of a cold front that is expected to get significantly colder in the coming days.
While the Bills are no strangers to winter conditions, the Ravens are optimistic their chances.
“You have to perform under pressure. Opponent pressure, it’s also environmental pressure. And that’s really noise as much as anything else, especially for the offense,” Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh said this week.
LAMAR JACKSON: ‘TRYING TO BEAT’ JOSH ALLEN, NOT BE FRIENDS
“But it’s a two-way street. We have that in our stadium — our defense has to operate that way, too. Both groups have to deal with communication, with noise.”
Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey said he was looking forward to the snow, adding, “It gets cold enough in Baltimore, so I don’t think it’s going to be much different.”
Sunday’s game will have an added twist as Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen are considered the favorites for this year’s league MVP.

Earlier this season, the Bills struggled to stop Derrick Henry, who rushed for 199 yards, including an explosive 87-yard run in the Ravens’ 35-10 victory. But the Ravens aren’t far from the heartbreak of losing to Buffalo in the 2020 divisional round.
