One dead, at least 9 injured after small plane crashes in Fullerton, California
Pilot The pilot of a single-engine plane is dead and at least nine people were injured after the small plane crashed into a warehouse in California on Thursday afternoon local time.
The crash happened Thursday at 2:15 p.m. local time in Fullerton, California, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The plane was a single-engine Van-RV10, the agency announced. The small craft can carry up to four adults, but it is unclear how many people were on board at the time collision.
The Fullerton Police Department said the pilot was killed in the crash. Nine people were taken to the hospital and six people were treated and released at the scene, police said.
Aerial video footage showed the aftermath of the accident – which left a gaping hole in the warehouse in Fullerton, California.

Large plumes of smoke rose as emergency services rushed to the scene. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will continue to investigate.
The plane crashed near Fullerton Municipal Airport, an Orange County airport about 6 miles away from Disneyland.
