South Korea’s military reported that North Korea test-fired several short-range ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan on Tuesday morning. The launch came a day after Japan’s foreign minister held talks in South Korea with top officials as the Asian allies seek to strengthen ties ahead of Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
