Given that the Saints are currently sitting as long as they can 10 points deviation from safetyRamsdale’s departure is almost certain if he does indeed intend to leave in the event of relegation.
Newcastle could be the ideal move now that Nick Pope is 32 and arguably at the peak of his powers at St James’ Park.
“Phenomenal” Ramsdale must return to the best place
It wasn’t that long ago Ramsdale he was Arsenal’s undisputed No.1 and part of a side they hope to seal Premier League glory. Two seasons later, he finds himself at the wrong end of a relegation battle that is likely to end in relegation.
