New police camera footage reveals bizarre behavior during arrests a teenager from Ohio convicted for deliberately crashing her car into a wall at a speed of 160 km/h and killing her boyfriend and his passenger in July 2022.

Prosecutors said Shirilla, then 17, crashed her Toyota Camry into a brick wall at a Strongsville, OH, business in the early morning hours of July 22, 2022. break her toxic relationship with Russ, and Flanagan happened to be along for the ride.

“Hi Mackenzie, come out for me?” the policeman is heard asking Shirilla. “I’m the one who investigated the accident. You’re under arrest for aggravated murder times two.”
– No one will ask you, no one will bother you – he continued.
In a bizarre move, Shirilla can be heard pleading with the officer to be careful with her bracelet.

“Could you please be careful to take this off so it doesn’t break the bracelet, please?” Shirilla asks through tears.
“You have,” the officer replied as he adjusted the cuffs. “I’m not going to tighten them, OK? I don’t want to hurt you.”
The officer then placed Shirilla in another patrol car, where she tried to rest and closed her eyes during the ride to the station.

Shirilla was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison in 2023 after a prosecutor faulted her for her “shocking lack of remorse,” but in an act of mercy, the judge ordered the two sentences to be served concurrently instead of consecutively.
He will be eligible for parole in 15 years, not 30.

Russo and Flanagan were pronounced dead at the scene, while Shirilla was unconscious and had to be extricated from the mangled car.
Shirilla and the two victims were smoking marijuana before the crash.
