New Orleans terror attack body cam shows chaos on Bourbon Street as gunfire rings out

New Orleans Police Department body camera footage released Friday morning shows officers responding to the scene New Year’s terrorist attack on Bourbon Street where 15 people died, including the attacker Shamsud-Din Jabbar.
NOPD footage obtained by Fox News Digital through a public records request shows officers confronting Jabbar, still in his white Ford-150 that he crashed through Bourbon Street January 1st around 3:15 am.

You can see it on the video several police officers approach Jabbar’s truck, which was rented in Houston, at which point he starts shooting at the police under the deployed airbag. A loud gunshot can be heard about 13 seconds into the footage released Friday by the NOPD.

The video also shows several civilians running away from the gunfire. The NOPD previously said two officers were injured in the shooting that ultimately killed Jabbar.
