In a viral post on social media, Siraj can be seen in the gym taking a selfie using a gym mirror with dumbbells and other exercise equipment around him. The Indian pacer also added a caption “Reset, Restart, Refocus” pointing out that he started preparing to return to the Indian team.

Siraj’s ODI record so far

Siraj is expected to be a big miss for the Champions Trophy 2025. The right-arm pacer has an impressive record with the white ball and has been a key component of India’s bowling unit during the ICC tournament. Siraj has played 44 matches for the country and has so far taken 71 wickets at an economy rate of 5.18. The most memorable moment of Siraj’s limited overs career so far was the incredible 6-wicket haul he scored against Sri Lanka in Colombo in September 2023.

Siraj was also part of the deadly trio during ODI World Cup 2023 along with Shami and Bumrah and took 14 wickets during the tournament, becoming a constant bone of contention for the batsmen. Despite the sensational display with the bowl, India missed out on winning the World Cup and was defeated by Australia in the final of the tournament.
