Missing woman found dead after getting into strange car: ‘Someone knows something’
On January 10, North Carolina authorities found the body of a 25-year-old woman who was disappeared for six days.
Heather Williams was reported missing on Jan. 4, when she was last seen getting into a light-colored four-door sedan shortly before 10 p.m. in the area of Berkshire Road, according to Fayetteville Police Department.
“On Friday, January 10, 2025, while following up on a missing and endangered person investigation, Fayetteville Police Department detectives were taken to a wooded area near Newark Ave and State Ave. A deceased person was found there,” FPD said. in the press release at the time.
The woman has been identified as Williams, and FPD’s homicide unit is investigating.
FPD told Fox News Digital there were no further updates in the case of murder as of Tuesday, but officials will share more information as it becomes available as their investigation continues.

“Being out alone at night, it was a dangerous situation for her at first,” Mary Williams, sister of Heather Williams, WRAL said.
Police said Williams had a cognitive impairment.

“I’m just asking people out there, if they hear anything or see anything … somebody knows something, somebody talked to somebody, somebody is … they get lost along the way,” Mary Williams told WRAL. “So somebody has to find out and I’m just praying that whoever knows anything comes forward and we can get justice for Heather.”

Mary Williams added that her sister “loved her family and she loved Jesus” and that she “worked really hard.”
