Minecraft Bedrock player shares a useful tip to mine blocks faster
Minecraft comes in two different versions: Bedrock and Java Edition. While on the surface level both editions are identical, the finer details show the difference between the two. The Bedrock release is known to have many bugs and errors. Sometimes these bugs can be annoying and ruin the experience of exploring the cube world.
However, sometimes talented players can exploit these flaws as a new game mechanic. AND Minecraft gamer and Reddit user u/Outrageous_Pace4141 shared a short video clip on the game’s subreddit.

The title of the post states that players can mine faster when standing at the furthest distance from the block. Gameplay was recorded on Bedrock editionwhich means this could very well be a bug.
Reacting to the video, user u/Janusofborg said this was a Bedrock thing. Therefore, there is no point for Java Edition players to try it. Another user by the name of u/ClearMind responded to the comment saying that he wished there was a subreddit just for Bedrock players so they could post stuff like this there.
User u/mraltuser said that Steve acts like a lever, because the further he is from the object, the stronger he becomes in mining. However, another user named u/Joezev98 asked why people are upvoting this comment, since it’s literally the opposite of how leverage works. The user then explained how the lever and fulcrum work.
Using bugs in Minecraft as a feature
Minecraft players are known for their creativity, not only in building structures but also in mastering the mechanics of the game to gain an extra edge. From simple farming tricks to advanced redstone contraptions, players have found and exploited various bugs and used them to their advantage.
One popular trick is to use water and lava to create infinite stone generators. Players also take advantage of mechanics like farming mobs by designing dark rooms or using spawn blocks to gather resources like bones, cords, or gunpowder. Similarly, villagers are exploited to trade valuable items, using job blocks to get the best items to trade.
Bedrock Edition is notorious (or rather famous in this case) for having a lot of bugs. For example, duplication bugs can allow players to replicate valuable items like diamonds or enchanted gear.
One well-known feat involves using pistons and specific block positions to duplicate a carpet, a trick that is both economical and effective. Another feature that is exclusive to Bedrock is the quick mechanic, where players can creatively use the inventory setting to manage resources during combat or construction.
