Milan bans smoking outdoors, the strictest ban in Italy

Smokers in Italy’s financial and fashion capital Milan risk a fine for lighting up on city streets or crowded public spaces after the country’s strictest ban came into force on Wednesday. Those who defy the new ban in the polluted northern Italian city could be fined 40 to 240 euros ($41 to $249), a penalty not liked by all residents.
