WITH Manchester United wishing to welcome players who would suit Reuben AmorimSystem, INEOS are now reportedly preparing a move to sign the former Champions League winner at the request of the manager.

Although Amorim showed glimpses of what his 3-4-2-1 system is capable of in the win over Manchester City and the impressive draw at Anfield against Liverpool, it probably creates more problems than it has solved so far. Current Manchester United, simply put, are simply not equipped to play such a system.
This is a team that lacks wings in a system that uses that role and a team that probably only has one center capable of succeeding in the back three in Lisandro Martinez. Meanwhile, there’s also a rather dull front that desperately needs sharpening. So to say it should get the job done would be quite the understatement.

Whether Manchester United has the means to complete such a transformation remains in question. The last thing the Red Devils need is to run into any profit and sustainability issues when they have already flirted with a shock relegation battle this season, which could yet see the characters Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford Departure.
That sale should put those at Old Trafford in a far healthier position to pursue some much-needed fresh faces and could hand Amorim a solution to his wing-back problem.
According to reports in Spain, Ineos is now preparing a move to sign achraf hakimi to Manchester United at Amorim’s request this summer. The Paris Saint-Germain right-back was successful as a wing-back during his time at Inter Milan, where he won Serie A, and now he could become one of the first signings of the Amor era.
With his contract set to expire in just over a year, there could still be room for negotiation in any deal to sign the experienced full-back this summer.
“Elite” Hakimi would solve the Man Utd problem
A rising gem at Borussia Dortmund, a Champions League winner at Real Madrid, a Serie A winner at Inter Milan and an established star at PSG, Hakimi could now redeem the final big league on the list by joining Manchester United. And with him winning almost everywhere he goes, the Red Devils could be in for a ride if he puts pen to paper in the summer.
PSG boss Luis Enrique was among those to praise the 26-year-old Moroccan this season, telling reporters on the Morocco World News: “He’s becoming more rounded, especially on the defensive end.
“Hakimi is an elite player with huge experience and serves as a reference for his teammates. I think he is more mature compared to last season and that reflects his development.”
The Spanish praise suggests that Hakimi is at the peak of his powers, making now the best time for Manchester United to swoop in on their reported target. If Amorim is looking to solve his problem at wing-back, then signing a player who has operated among the elite in that role would surely be an intelligent move.
