Just as Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones have benefited from a more advanced midfield role in Sloto’s system, Millot could yet arrive to give the Dutchman another impressive number 10 to work with. The 22-year-old has already earned plenty of plaudits during an impressive season, including from Football talent scout Jacek Kulig who described it as “fantastic” and “criminally underrated”.
What should also add further impetus to Liverpool’s pursuit is the fact that they could deal a frustrating blow to title rivals Arsenal by winning the race to sign Millot this month or, indeed, in the summer transfer window.
