TOKYO, January 27, 2025 – (JCN Newswire) – – Anime Tokyo Station is an anime showcase site focused on Japanese anime content, which has developed a fan base even outside of Japan. It regularly hosts special exhibitions of popular anime films and attracts more than 130,000 visitors a year (as of January 2025), children and adults, from Japan and abroad.
From February 8th to May 6th, it will host a special exhibition for the TV anime “OSHI NO KO”, which enjoys immense popularity among Japanese and foreign audiences.
Created by the dream team of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, “OSHI NO KO” is a popular anime that uses a new approach to shine a light on the entertainment industry. The story of a fateful meeting between a young doctor and his favorite idol, Ai, an idol in the group B-KOMACHI. Launched in April 2023, it attracted a lot of attention not only for its story but also for its music, and last year it attracted even more attention with the announcement of its third season.
Exhibits at this special exhibition will include key scenes covering the anime’s story, life-size character panels, photo spots, videos that allow exhibition visitors to experience what it would be like to see the anime’s idol group B-KOMACHI perform, and more.

The first season of the TV anime “OSHI NO KO” started airing in April 2023, followed by the second season in July 2024, and has become popular worldwide. Now it has been announced that a third season is in the works. At this exhibition, visitors will be able to experience the world of “OSHI NO KO” and the appeal of the idols and other characters that appear in this anime that has caused a great stir.
