This means a lot, we have been waiting for this hundred for a long time – Jemimah Rodrigues
Speaking about her changes, Jemimah Rodrigues said that it means a lot to her because she has been waiting a long time to get her ton. She said she wants to be with the team until the very end. She also spoke about her 183-run partnership with Harleen Deol (89). Speaking after the changes, she said:
“This means a lot. It’s been a long time coming to get this hundred. More than anything else, I’m just glad that the team gave me the role of number four and I managed to live it. Today, the most important thing for me was to be there until 50. because I know that running is not a problem.
“But it’s just that feeling of hitting all the way through – it was a thought process and I’m glad I did it. The hundred just came. At first it took me a while to get used to the conditions. I know I can accelerate at any time , but it was important for me to hang in there, Harleen kept telling me “just keep playing”.
