Israeli stocks rise at close of trade; TA 35 rose by 0.24% Investing.com
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gain is 0.24%.
The best performers of the session were Newmed Energy LP (TASE: ), which rose 3.23% or 36.00 points to trade at 1,150.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE: ) added 2.96% or 149.00 points to end at 5,188.00 and Strauss group (TASE: ) was up 1.94% or 134.00 points to trade at 7,030.00 in late trade.
Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE: ) were the worst performers of the session, falling 2.69% or 265.00 points to trade at 9,600.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: ) declined 1.96% or 370.00 points to 18,520.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: ) declined 1.86% or 151.00 points to 7,950.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 347 to 124, with 65 ending unchanged.
Shares of Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.69% or 265.00 to 9,600.00.
Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.19% or 0.14 to $71.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery was up 1.16% or 0.85 at $74.42 a barrel, while February gold futures were down 0.00% or 0.05 at 2,639.30 dollars per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.30% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 3.77.
US dollar index futures rose 0.32% to 108.28.
