India The women’s cricket team has announced the squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Irelandstarting on January 10 in Rajkot. Smriti Mandhana to host Women in Blue
Smriti Mandhan will lead the Indian women’s team for the ODI series against Ireland. Mandhana has been one of India’s most consistent players in international cricket and has shown excellent leadership skills while captaining in the absence of Harmanpreet. Deepti Sharma she will support Mandhana as co-captain, bringing her experience to the leadership group. With the added responsibility, Mandhana will look to lead the team to a strong series win.

New faces in the team
The series will also see inclusion Raghvi Bust and Sayali Satgharewho were invited to the composition. Bist made her T20I debut in December 2024 against West Indies in Navi Mumbai, where she had notable performances with scores of 5 and 31 in her two matches. Meanwhile, Satghare, who got India’s call-up for the ODI against New Zealand in October 2024 but didn’t get a chance to play, will barely make her debut in this series. Both players add depth to the team and will be happy to contribute to the team’s success.
Improve, Practice Rawal and Tanuja Kanwarwho both made their debuts for India during the West Indies ODI in Vadodara, have retained their places in the squad.
