HGTV stars Tarek and Heather El Moussa, Christina Hall call out Princess Diana: ‘Three of us in this marriage’
Tarek and Heather El Moussa don’t let the past negatively affect the future, especially when it comes to fostering healthy relationships within their family.
Real estate professionals seriously lubricated their friendship with Christina HallTarek’s ex-wife, and they created an alliance that not only benefited their personal household, but also helped create a bond between the couple for their new HGTV series, “The Flip Off.”
In an Instagram clip with the trio, Princess Diana’s voice echoed in the background from her infamous 1995 BBC interview in which she was asked if Camilla Bowles was a “factor” in the breakdown of her marriage to Prince Charles, to which she replied: “Well, there were three in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”
“Looks like three is a crowd…” read the headline along with information about the show’s inclusion.

While Hall dealt behind the scenes with the breakup of her third marriage with Joshua Hall, she found allies in her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa and Heather.
Hall filed for divorce from Joshua in July and has since relied on the couple’s support in unique ways.
Their volatile relationship was seen firsthand in a sneak peek of the upcoming show. “This is a competition. We must take all steps. Whatever it takes to win, I will do it. Halls rule!” Josh said to Christina while driving. “You should say it with me, or say it again, or something that shows you’re with me.”

“Remember, you’re Hall now. Don’t get confused by your last name in this competition. You’re rude.”
“I’m not exaggerating the story,” Christina finally replied, to which Josh said, “Yeah, s… you say, and I’m just like, ‘I wish you’d shut up already.’
Christina sighed and Josh replied, “My wife is already pissing me off.”
As her marriage unfolded in front of the cameras, Christina found a friend in Heather, and the pair regularly poke fun at each other (and Tarek) on social media. When Heather and Tareka were asked if they would ever do “The Flip Off” again while announcing the air date of their HGTV show on Instagram, Christina was quick to jump in with comments criticizing her soon-to-be ex-husband.
“Only if [Heather] is my partner next time,” Christina wrote. “Tarek, you can have Josh.”

Christina’s estranged husband was originally involved in the program but has not been involved since the former couple announced their divorce over the summer, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The star of “Christine na obali” finalized her divorce from her second husband, Ant Ansteadin June 2021. The former couple share custody of their 5-year-old son, Hudson.

While filming their new reality show, Tarek and Heather gave an insight into what it was like working with his ex-wife in a video shared on social media. Tarek tried to reach Christina on the phone, but his calls went unanswered. Heather laughed as she realized, “Blocked you.”

At DIRECTV’s Kathy Hilton Christmas Holiday Event, Heather exclusively told Fox News Digital that her digital banter with Christina is “all in good fun, and we’re just having a good time.”
– We shoot the series together, everyone gets along, we raise children together and that doesn’t happen overnight – said Heather.

“I mean, obviously a lot of things have happened, but time heals a lot of things and I feel like everyone’s in a really good place right now and getting along … and that’s the most important thing.”

The former couple are now parents of two children together and will be working together on “The Flip Off,” but they were in a much different place years ago when their marriage ended in 2018.
“We were mad at each other,” Tarek said Hey! News. “I was upset that she left me. She was upset that I acted the way I did. We still had to work together. It took a big toll on our family.”
He added: “Time heals. And enough time has passed by the time that all the anger and rage and negative thoughts, I feel like they’re finally gone.”
Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack rose to fame as home renovation experts on “Flip or Flop,” but eventually parted ways as a couple and continued to work together professionally. The show ended its run in 2022 after almost 10 years. (Aaron Rapoport)
“You cannot be co-parents if you are angry, if you hold a grudge against your ex-spouse,” added Tarek. “If you don’t forgive, you’ll be stuck and you’ll never move forward. You have to do it for your children.”
He detailed his struggles with anxiety and depression and the subsequent end of their marriage in his 2024 memoir. “Turn Your Life Around: How to Find Opportunities in Adversity – in Real Estate, Business, and Life.”
In addition to mental problems, Tarek also struggled with steroid addiction and at one point he turned to hormone injections recommended by an “anti-aging specialist”.

“I knew something was wrong,” El Moussa admitted to Fox News Digital last year. “I was planning on going to another doctor and starting to figure out what was going on with me. But unfortunately, I had done so much damage. It was a little too late.”
After hitting rock bottom, Tarek accepted that “life isn’t fair” and started working on his new life.

“I knew it was going to be challenging. I knew it was going to take a long time. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but I knew I had no other options. So I got to work,” he told Fox News Digital at the time.

Part of his new life included finding love again and marrying his ex Playboy model Heather in 2021. They had a son, Tristan, in 2023.
