The comedian, known for her recent roast of Tom Brady, admitted that she was afraid of “getting fired” for some content written for the awards show and decided to tell Stern jokes instead.

“Yeah, I have a lot of examples, but feel free to interrupt me anytime,” Glaser said.
“I put together a little mini setlist for you because, yeah, some of them are like they’ve been in the writers’ room. They’d get a show and they’d be like, ‘We can’t say that on TV. We can’t say that to these people’s faces .’ So I’d say, ‘Move it to Stern’s file. We can do it on Stern.'”
The 57-year-old actress, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in “Babygirl,” had a joke about her that was overlooked, according to Glaser. “This one … we shot it for promotion, and they almost aired it on CBS, and then we said I’m going to cancel it,” Glaser admitted.

Stern asked, “Why didn’t you use that joke?”
“We had another Diddy reference that worked better and led us to other jokes. You only get one Diddy reference,” Glaser said. “Which you don’t want to do because you’re accusing people in the room of being involved in it, and they might turn on you for it.”
