Hamas terrorists abducted Sounsan from their house to Kibbutz Kfar Aza during Brutal attacks on October 7th. She was forced to walk barefoot in his pajamas from her burning house to the border with Gaza, she was beaten on the way. Sounsana struggled with the kidnappers in what was called the “battle of my life”, trying to stop them in the hope that the IDF would save her before dragging her to Gaza.

During her captivity, Sounsana was tied to ankle, unable to move. “I had to look for permission to use the bathroom,” she explained, describing her experience in detail. “In that house, I sexually attacked the Hamas terrorist who kept me.”
She described the attack, saying, “He forced me to go under the shower and enter the room, pointed a gun at me. He hit strongly and had a monstrous face like a beast.” She recalled his intrusive interrogation as he sat next to her in his underwear, lifting her shirt and touching her. “I knew exactly what he was planning to do, and yet I couldn’t do anything to prevent it. I was extremely helpless.”
Sounsana said that after the attack, she was not “allowed to cry or be sad”. She recalled the feeling of isolated and forced to treat himself beautifully toward the person who had just sexually attacked me. “
