Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottos, Democrat, said she was thinking about running Georgian next governor.
Bottos, who recently served in Biden’s administration, told Fox 5 Atlanta that he was seriously considering running in Georgia’s 2026 Gubernator elections, but wants to finish some things he first works on, including a new book.
She also knocked on President Donald Trump, who she believes he already fails to fulfill his promises of the campaign while returning to public function.

The former mayor further criticized the President for the mass deportation of illegal migrants who did not commit violent crimes.
“I don’t think there are many people who are against people who have violent criminal records deport themselves if they are illegally in the country,” she said. “When I see raids, I immediately think of families who are behind, and is reminiscent of the policies of the separation of the families I had to deal with when I was Mayor of Atlanta.”
The bottles resigned from the White House earlier this month, where she served President Joe Biden’s Export council. “I think people forget that the mayors have been elected for a four -year term,” she said. “I have completed my term. If we want people to serve as mayor for eight years, we should be sure that they were elected to an eight -year term.”
