Sean Dyche’s future hangs in the balance
Following the Toffees’ 1-0 defeat away at AFC Bournemouth, it is believed that Friedkin’s group reviewing Dyche’s situation at Goodison Park, and the Merseyside club are now just one point above Premier League relegation zone.
The 53-year-old admitted that the owners are right to judge his future, in light of the poor results his side have suffered, saying: “We didn’t win enough this season, [I need to] make sure the team works the right way and please everyone all the time. It’s a job, we haven’t done it enough and it all comes down to me.”
Not only have the results been poor, but the style of play employed at Goodison Park is not exactly easy on the eye, with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher recently taking stock of how few goals they’ve scored from open play.
With speculation surrounding Dyche’s future building, TEAMtalk reports on it Everton have now started looking for potential replacementsand their main target is believed to be former Chelsea boss Graham Potter.
However, the 49-year-old is now closing in on the West Ham United job, meaning the Toffees may have to look at other options, with one manager on their mind being David Moyes.
The Friedkins are believed to be considering Moyes as a potential target and there are signs he would take the role if offered, as he is believed to be keen on a return to Goodison Park.

During his time with West Ham United, the Scot guided West Ham United to success in the European Conference League, indicating he could be a solid appointment for the Toffees.
The Merseysiders are set to move to their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock next season, which they hope could be the venue for some famous European nights, and Moyes has proven he is capable of turning that dream into reality.
With Potter appearing to be on his way to the London Stadium, it could be a smart move for Everton to name “outstanding” former West Ham boss as they look to move on and start competing in the higher echelons of the Premier League again.
