Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, who has a concussion, is taking a step forward for a potential playoff return
The Philadelphia Eagles they have Super Bowl aspirations, but will very likely need their franchise quarterback to get them there.
However, Birds fans collectively held their breath a few weeks ago when the Jalen Hurts fell with a concussion.
Hurts missed the last two games of the season due to a head injury. It should be noted that the Eagles rested quite a few starters in the season finale against the New York Giants, but even if they hadn’t, Hurts would have been sidelined, as he is still in concussion protocol.

But Philly got some good news Wednesday, as he took the field for the first time since his injury.
Hurts was spotted throwing without a helmet; therefore, he did not participate fully, but at least he is a step forward until the biggest game of the season.
The Eagles clinched the No. 2 seed in the NFC, winning the East and going 14-3 on the season. But they certainly do not have an easy match.
They will host Green Bay Packerswho are the seventh holders for the second year in a row; that didn’t stop them from beating the Cowboys in Dallas last year though, and this year’s 11-6 team has a lot more experience than last year’s.
Philly has won both games without Hurts this year, although the game he was injured in they lost to the Washington Commanders.
Another good news for the Birds is that their game isn’t until Sunday, as two games will be on Saturday. So Hurts will have another day to clean up.
