Cristiano Ronaldo sends a message on Georgina Rodriguez’s birthday – as the pair pose in the gym

Cristiano Ronaldo has described how partner Georgina Rodriguez “lights up” his family and shared a snap with her in the gym on her birthday.

Rodriguez, who met Ronaldo in 2016 while he was in Real Madrid and she worked as a saleswoman in the Spanish capital, she turned 31 on Monday.

“To my mother, my partner, my friend, my wife… happy birthday, my love,” Ronaldo wrote in a post accompanied by a heart on Instagram, where he has more than 648 million followers. “Your light illuminates us and your love infects us.”

Rodriguez shared Ronaldo’s post and gave her massive following of more than 65 million a glimpse of her celebration.

The Buenos Aires-born fashionista showed off a bag from the Saudi fragrance brand Laverne, with which Rodriguez has collaborated.

She also received a rose heart and a cake with candles to mark her age, with a happy birthday message written on it.

Ronaldo’s first child, Cristiano Jr, was born in 2010 and is one of five who are part of a quintuple. Golden ball the winner’s family with Georgina.

Cristiano Jr.’s birth mother has not been named. In 2017, Ronaldo and Rodriguez became parents to twins named Mateo and Eva, who were conceived with a surrogate mother.

A few weeks later, the couple announced that Rodriguez was expecting a child. In November 2017, Alan Martin’s daughter was born.

In October 2021, Ronaldo and Rodriguez said they were expecting twins – a boy and a girl. In April 2022, Ronaldo shared on Instagram that Bella had been born, but that their boy Angel had died.

The family joined Portugal icon when he moved to Saudi Arabia to join Saudi professional league Al-Nassr club at the beginning of 2023.

Rodriguez posted photos from their trip to Lapland during the Saudi football winter break at the end of December 2024, calling their holiday a “dream”.
