Chloe Kelly allegedly rejected the club’s interest in the women’s super league (WSL) Brighton & Hove Albion after taking her social media to express frustration in Manchester City.

Kelly, whose current contract expires in the summer, wrote that “she accepted my future at this club then.”

“However, to be dictated by whom I can, and what I cannot join only four months left since the football season, has a huge impact on not only my career because of my mental well -being.”
Post comes after the previous rumors that the player connected with the loan City rival Manchester United. The Red Devils were believed to have shown an interest in raising forward in the agreement by the end of the 2024/25 season, but any movement under the potential agreement says he paused.
Since WSL transfer will be closed on Thursday, January 30 at 23:00 GMT, it is not clear whether Kelly will reach his desired outcome in a short turnaround.
