Celtic is preparing for a new “approach” for the 22-year-old striker with Jota

Celtic are now ready to make a “second approach” for a top player in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph.
Jota ready to return to Celtic
Transfer rumors continue to abound around the Hoops this month, not least when it comes to the former attacking hero Iota returning to the club.
The Portuguese looks increasingly likely to seal a Celtic reunion, arriving from Ligue 1 side Rennes, who are on the way to sign Kyogoo Furuhashi. It’s a transfer that could be hugely popular at Parkhead, given the impact he’s had in his first spell.
Meanwhile, another Hoops comeback also looks on the cards this month, with Kieran Tierney he will most likely come on loan until the end of the season. He looks set to sign a pre-contract agreement to join permanently in the summer transfer window.
Celtic are believed to be plotting a move for the Brondby forward Mathias Kvistgaardenalso, as Brendan Rodgers looking to bolster his attacking options after Kyog’s disappointing outing.
Celtic will make a “second approach” for the new striker
Taking in XJoseph claimed that Celtic are expected to make a “second approach” for Kvistgaardenas they look to reach an agreement for him this month:
Kvistgaarden could be Kyogo’s ideal replacement for the Hoops, with the 22-year-old an impressive young striker with plenty more to come.
The Dane has scored 38 goals in 110 appearances for Brondby, while at international level he scored seven times in 17 games for Denmark’s Undfer-21s. Football talent scout Jacek Kulig he’s also described it as “superb” in the past.
If Celtic could bring in Kvistgaarden, Jota and Tierney before the February 3 deadline, it would look like an excellent window overall, although losing Kyog could hurt the reigning Scottish Premiership champions.
The Hoops need to be as strong as possible between now and the end of the campaign, not only in terms of defending the league crown, but also in order to go as far as possible in the Champions League.
