Celebrities lament the start of Trump’s second term: ‘Elect a criminal, expect crimes’


Anti-Trump celebrities are rolling into President Donald Trump’s second term kicking and screaming.

In a series of posts on Bluesky, Streisand condemned Trump’s inaugurationhis executive orders and his cabinet.

On Monday, she wrote: “Donald Trump is taking over as president today. Maybe he could show some class and stop selling a brand instead of cashing in on the office.”

The next day, Streisand added, “Trump makes his choices Cabinet members less on their competence and experience than on their loyalty or perceived appearance on television.”

The actress said a few hours later: “Trump signs an order that overturns the 14th Amendment’s clear language on citizenship for all people born here. If the GOP Supreme Court has any shred of credibility about the Constitution, it will be overturned immediately below.”

TV sitcom actor Jon Cryer they stated on Bluesky on Monday that “the criminal presidency of America has begun.”
