California Democrat hits Kasha Patel for ties with a group for real weapons
Senator Alex Padilla, D-Calif., Kash Patel on grilled, president Donald Trump Nominated to lead the FBI, through Patel’s views.
Asked by Padilla if Patel believes that the background checks of firearms were constitutionally constitutionally during the candidate’s certificate on Thursday, Patel replied that he did not know “detailed to that”, but he believed “this is what the Supreme Court said.”

“Weapons owners in America have taken extreme positions, including the view that all the background checks are unconstitutional and that civilian ownership of the machine guns is protected by another amendment,” Padilla said.
Padilla then claimed that the patel would be responsible for monitoring some of the most important weapons regulations in the country on the FBIExpressing the concern that Trump’s candidate was not on the task.

“I remind you that as the director of the FBI, you will monitor the critical responsibility related to the regulation of firearms, you are managing the National Crime Crime System for Instant. Mitraljaz to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands and programs for a reason,” Padilla said.
“Given your hesitation, given your answers, I am worried about your ability to do a job when you are not in harmony with views like the US weapon owner.”
