Brittany Aldean believes there is ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ now that Trump is back in office
Brittany Aldean is back home in Florida and took some time to share her experience attending President Donald Trump Inauguration Day earlier this week.
Brittany, who was at the historic event with country star husband Jason Aldean, uploaded a video of herself Instagram story January 22 with the title “My view of inauguration experience.”
“Back in Florida after a very long week in Mexico and then DC and I just wanted to jump in here and say something about how I feel about everything and the whole experience,” Brittany began. “It’s definitely a bucket list item that you think will never happen again.”
“I’m like, ‘Honey, when are we ever going to be in this situation again? This is unbelievable.’ So you’re constantly pinching yourself, thinking, ‘How are we doing here?’
On Monday night, Jason performed at the Liberty Ball, which was an event honoring President Trump.
“I’m so happy he’s back in office. I feel like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and we’re in it right now. We’re getting there. America will, like, thrive again.”
Brittany continued to share her personal experiences with members of the Trump family and even called Ivanka Trump a “dream”.
“I just wanted to say that we hung out with the family a little bit and if you’ve never met them in person, I just want to say that they are the nicest, kindest, most genuine people,” she said. he said. “I met Ivanka for the first time, we talked a little bit, she was a dream come true. She’s so sweet and kind, and makes you feel like she wants to be there in the conversation. That’s how everyone is.”
Brittany noted that there’s “a lot of stuff going around on the internet” about the Trump family and explained that the Aldeans have experienced “a fraction of what they’re going through.”
“We’ve been in the headlines multiple times about things that aren’t factual and people’s opinions and people just read the headlines online and think it’s gospel, and it’s just not. So, from personal experience, we really adore this family, and they’re just so kind and darlings, and we always have such a good time when we’re around them,” she said.
Brittany is “so happy” what Trump did his return to the White House and is full of hope for the future.

“We had a great time. I’m so happy he’s back in office. I feel like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and we’re in it right now. We’re getting there. America, like, is going to thrive again,” she concluded.
In 2023 Brittany’s husband caused stormy reactions with the release of “Try That In A Small Town,” a country song about small towns not putting up with the unrest and lawlessness many cities faced in the summer of 2020. The music video was pulled from Country Music Television (CMT) at the time.
As for the music video, Brittany showed her support on social media, sharing a selfie of the couple on the beach and writing: “Never apologize for telling the truth.”
She also posted her story on Instagram at the time, writing: “The media… it’s the same song and dance. Twist everything you can to fit your disgusting narrative. How about instead of creating stories we focus on the REAL ones like CHILD TRAFFICKING ? Food for thought.”
This is not the first time that the Aldeans have publicly expressed their political views.
In 2021, Brittany shared photos of herself on her Instagram “Social club against Biden” T-shirt and her kids with Jason, Memphis and Navy, wearing “Hidin’ from Biden” t-shirts. (Jason was not wearing any political clothes in the picture.)
After receiving some backlash for the shirts, Jason came to his wife’s defense.
“I will never apologize for my beliefs or my love for my family and country,” the country music star captioned the Instagram post, which featured a silhouette of himself against an American flag.

“This is the greatest country in the world and I want to keep it that way,” he added with the hashtag “no apologies.”
Jason repeated his comments a month later on Audacy’s “Rob + Holly,” saying he wasn’t afraid of cancellation.
“I think people know where I stand politically. I’m not the guy who’s just going to go out there and start stirring the pot just to stir the pot,” he told the program. “At some point it got to the point that if you’re a conservative and you’re in this business, you’re not allowed to speak.”
“People are going to have their opinions about whatever I say or think or whatever, and that’s perfectly fine,” he continued. “You don’t have to agree with me. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me, but I also have a voice and an opinion like everyone else.”
