Border czar Tom Homan is sending a message to officials against mass deportations
Border czar Tom Homan has issued a stark warning to blue-collar towns and states resisting the Trump administration’s mass deportations, telling far-left officials who want to quash those efforts to “play along.”
“We’re just trying to help public safety in your community,” Homan told Lawrence Jones during “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday.
“Help, cooperate with us because you’ve forced us into the community. Here’s what’s going to happen. We’re going to find the bad guy, but when we find him, he’s going to be with others, others who may not be priority criminals. But guess what? If they’re in the U.S. States illegally, and they will be arrested.”

“Sanctuary cities are going to get exactly what they don’t want, more agents in the communities, more people arrested, more collateral arrested. So that’s the game they want to play? The game goes on,” he continued.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes he is just one of the attorneys general in a group of far-left officials who have opposed the Trump administration’s efforts to reduce the tide of illegal immigration.
She previously defended Dreamers, beneficiaries of the Obama-era DACA program, saying any federal effort to send them to their home countries would be “a bright red line for me.”
“I will also not participate in and fight against attempts to establish what I believe are actually concentration camps and family separation camps in the state of Arizona,” she said Tuesday.
Homan called her statements “offensive” and a misrepresentation of the truth.
“We said right out of the gate, Lawrence … we’re going to focus on public safety,” he shot back. “So she’s saying she doesn’t want threats to public safety outside the community? I’m offended by the term concentration camps too. Are you serious?”
“We just lost a border patrol agent shooting in Vermont yesterday, and they are the Gestapo? are you serious concentration camps? ICE has detention centers. They have the best standards in the entire industry,” he continued. “I will compare ICE detention standards to any state or federal facility or any county facility in the entire world. We have the highest standards of detention, so this is an insult and a lie.”
Homan noted that there have been 766 arrests at the southern border in the past 24 hours, compared to thousands on any given day under the Biden administration. He also said that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents did not let anyone go.
The emperor on the border called the stark pivot a “game changer.”
“We are concentrating on the worst firstthreats to public safety and threats to national security,” Homan said. “And just yesterday, in the last 24 hours, ICE arrested over 308 … serious criminals. Some of them were murderers. Some of them were rapists. Some of them raped the child. Some were sexual assaults on children.”
TRUMP TO SEND TROOPS TO BORDER, END BIDEN’S PAROLE POLICY IN RUSH OF EXECUTIVE ORDERS ON DAY ONE
“So ICE is doing its job and they’re prioritizing, just like the president said they would,” he continued. “ICE now has an excellent track record on the ground and will continue to do so every day.”
Homan confirmed that the mass deportations began on Tuesday after Trump’s inauguration as the new administration begins its own suppression of illegal immigrationreiterating the importance of the mission as it relates to public and national security.
“I want to save lives. A secure border saves lives,” Homan said. “When President Trump locks this border, fewer women and children will be victims of sex trafficking in this country, fewer foreigners will die along the way. Under President Biden, we had a record number of people die crossing that border. [and a] 600% increase in human trafficking for sex.”
“You can’t have strong national security if you don’t have border security,” he continued. “So we need to know who’s coming, what’s coming, where they’re coming and why they’re coming. So, again, President Trump [is a] game changer. [He] already made a significant difference on that border. This country is already strong because of President Trump.”
