Benavidez: Don’t count Crawford against Canel

David Benavidez does not rule out the victory of Terrence Crawford in his potential fight against the unique Canela Alvarez super -midfield champion in September.

Unlike his father, Jose Benavidez Sr, David remains positive. It does not sound uncomfortable that Crawford (41-0, 31 ko) could be a fight that has been persecuted for over five years against the Mexican superstar Canelo.

Benavidez is unlimited

You would not blame Benavidez to upset because Crawford would head to 154 and get a direct title title against Canela (62-2-2-39) without never fighting in the division.

The fight has not yet been made, but it is believed that Turks al-Sheikh will happen. Canelo-Crawford is a struggle that fans of hardcore boxing want to see. Occasional fans would be less interested, but they would catch up in Hype and follow a flock to order it at PPV, although it is not a conflict that would be interested in them. Crawford is not a big star outside the Ultra-Hardcore fan.

“That’s a good fight. I have nothing against any of them. Crawford is a great fighter, “David Benavidez said 210boxingtvseemingly trying not to sound bitter, speaking of a potential conflict in September between Canel Alvarez and Terrence Crawford.

“Well, Crawford appears from 154. 168 is two weight classes above, but Crawford is Crawford. A good fighter is a good fighter. If anyone can beat Canela, it’s Crawford.

“I don’t think he would come to 175. I think 168 is the most that he would show up,” Benavidez said when asked if he thought Crawford would fight him. “I finished 168,” David said, whether he would return to 168 for the fight against these guys. “No, I’m done [with super middleweight].

“The fighting will not happen in 168. You see Crawford fighting all these people. I’m worried about 175,” Benavidez said.

It’s hard to know if Benavidez can seriously believe that Crawford can win this fight. He could hide his true feelings to avoid outraged, who cannot deal with Canel, who crossed over him for the benefit of a dissatisfied fighter.

In a recent interview, Canelo said he did not give Benavidez the fight because he did not like the way he approached him.
