Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the “incredible” target
Maybe it was only Dinamo Zagreb, but in the context of the last month, Arsenal’s win in Champions League last night was a big one.
Mikel Arteta the team played a comfortable 3-0 win, and while most of the starters played well, Raheem Sterling had another lackluster game.
The Chelsea loanee was the latest player to replace the injured Bukayo Saka but, unsurprisingly, it couldn’t replicate even a fraction of the sensational, game-changing impact of Hale Ender.

In his defence, it’s an almost impossible task because, before he got injured last month, the 23-year-old was undoubtedly performing at a world-class level, even if those around him weren’t.
So recent reports of the club now agreeing personal terms with a striker who looks like he could help shoulder some of the attacking load once he returns from injury should excite fans.
Arsenal target Premier League star
According to a recent report from Football TransfersArsenal continue their search for a new centre-forward this month and have now advanced their pursuit of the Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha.
Focus transfer
Mega money deals, controversial moves and big name failures. This is the home of transfer news and opinion across the Football FanCast.
The report revealed that the two-time Premier League runners-up have now reached a personal deal with the player himself and that any deal will not be an issue. He has reportedly not yet signed the new contract proposed to him by Old Gold.
However, while this is certainly encouraging news for the North Londoners, the report also clarifies that as things stand, the two teams are very far apart in terms of player valuations, with the West Midlands outfit demanding a fee in excess of £70m, while the Gunners are unwilling to go above £45m ‘for a player who is not considered a top priority target.’
All in all, it looks like Arsenal will have to spend more than they would like to make this transfer happen, but given Cunha’s ability, it seems like something worth doing, especially as he could be incredible alongside Saka.
Why would Cunha Saki be an unreal teammate
So, aside from the positive momentum such a signing would surely bring to Arsenal this season, there are a few key reasons why Cunha would be such an incredible teammate for Saki once he returns from injury, the first of which comes down to his performance.
For example, the Wolves star has been in sensational form this season, and that in only 22 performancesa total of 1717 minutes, he collected ten goals and four assists.
This means that the “unbelievable” attacker, as journalist Alex Richards called ithe currently averages a goal every 1.57 games, or every 122.64 minutes, which for a relegation-threatened side is undoubtedly brilliant.

Even more so when you consider that the Gunners’ current top scorer, Kai Havertz, has scored 14 goals and four assists in 30 appearances, a total of 2486 minutes, which translates to an average involvement in a goal every 1.66 games, or 138.11 minutes, you begin to imagine how much more dangerous Hale Ender could be with the far more effective Brazilian on the left.
The second reason why the former Atlético Madrid star would be a dream teammate for the Englishman is related to the first and is the simple fact that he would occupy the defenders.
By this we mean that due to his level of output and the dynamic way in which he can get to the team, he will be more focused on opposition defenders than Havertz currently is, which in turn could free up more space for the north Londoner’s lively number seven to operate and that’s how i affected the games.
Ultimately, Arsenal need some attacking reinforcements this month, and while he might cost more than they would like, the club should do everything they can to sign Cunha, as not only would he bring more goals to the team himself, but also helped Saka reach the second level.
