The Virginia University Visitors Committee on Friday voted to close Diversity, equality and inclusion (Dei) Office after the executive commands of President Trump against the efforts of the dei in the Federal Government.

The University Committee of Visitors consists of 17 voting members named Governor.

The resolution states that the “Office for Diversity, Share, Inclusion and Partnership in the University of the University of University is dissolved,” Adding School “will immediately transfer the allowed programs to the new organizational home”.
The resolution did not determine what would be considered a “allowed” program.
The resolution added that the University President would update the Committee for compliance within 30 days.

The Committee quoted a statement of a university mission, which “includes commitment [developing] Full potential of talented students from all layers of life “in its resolution.
He continued to say that the Committee “highly appreciates the diversity, including the diversity of thought and experience, and stimulates an inclusive environment, stimulating the culture of opportunities for everyone, which enriches our foundations immensely, and is dedicated to providing education to each student without discrimination and well -known.”
