An operation is underway to send hundreds of soldiers to the southern border of the USA

According to senior military officials, an operation is underway to deploy 1,000 Army personnel and 500 Marines to the US-Mexico border. The soldiers will help enforce immigration enforcement in El Paso, Texas, and San Diego, California.
