An inner neighborhood completely lost in the LA fires
Thousands of people in the affluent Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles were forced to evacuate after high winds fueled a massive wildfire.
The inferno flattened homes as it raged – exploding from 10 hectares to more than 2,900 hectares in just hours.
At the scene, CBS reporter Jonathan Vigliotti said firefighters are no longer “trying to save” homes in the Palisades, they’re “trying to keep these flames from spreading to other neighborhoods.”
