Alejandro Garnach’s agents spotted at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea prepare new Man Utd approach
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnach’s agents were in attendance on Monday to watch Chelsea beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are known to be interested in a deal for Garnachwho could be available this summer after losing his place in the squad under new head coach Ruben Amorim, but they face significant competition from Napoli.
Transfer speculation to Chelsea appeared online on Monday night and it was later revealed that Garnach’s representatives, Carlos Cambeiro and Quique de Lucas, were both in the crowd Chelsea are back in fourth place in the Premier League standings.
The Daily Mail Chelsea are expected to make a fresh approach for Garnach, who is thought to be available for a fee of around £65m.
Such a figure has so far proved problematic for Napoli, who are looking to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following his £59.1m move to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month, but a new offer from the Serie A side is also expected to arrive soon.
Fabrizio Romano adds that Chelsea started to inquire back in December after Mykhailo Mudryk failed a doping testand the replacement was teased by the Blues. It is not believed that there has been any progress on this front at this stage.
On Unitedthose in charge do not actively want to sell Garnach, but now recognize the need to listen to offers for any player, and the winger’s status as an academy signing – £420,000 from Atletico Madrid in 2020 – offers the opportunity to earn huge money.
