FIRST ON FOX — Conservative website dedicated following critical race theory (CRT) and other “awakened” concepts in higher education has launched a free resource for parents of school-aged students to help them combat these ideologies.

K-12 Guide for Parents, presented this week CriticalRace.orgaims to “empower” parents with “knowledge and an action plan” to recognize and counter CRT in their child’s current or future school.

Guide, first shared with Fox News Digitalbreaks down the origins of CRT, before dissecting the common buzzwords associated with it, such as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), decolonization and anti-racism.

Parents are also given tools on where to find CRT in public schools and ways they can take action against these political ideas that affect their child’s education.

BIDEN’S EDUCATION DEPARTMENT SPENT MORE THAN $1 BILLION ON DEI GRANTS: REPORT

A new parent’s guide has been launched to help parents of K-12 students navigate “revival” concepts in their children’s schools.

Kemberlee Kaye, editor-in-chief of CriticalRace.org, said they were compelled to create the resource due to increased requests from parents of younger students for guidance on using this topic in their child’s education.

The Parent’s Guide is intended to help those families who may not be able to withdraw their children from public schools, but still want to protect their children as best they can.

“We are deeply committed to education without overt prejudices that try to turn our children against each other, their families, their culture and their country. We know that it is not possible for everyone to withdraw their children from public education in favor of private options or home education, so we have created the Guide for parents to provide a plan for parents who are concerned about what their children may be learning in our public school system,” Kaye said in a statement.

JAMES CARVILLE CALLS DEMOCRATS TO ‘MIX THE TEAM’ WITH “IDIOTIC NPR JARGON”

“It shouldn’t be the case that parents have to look out for their local school districts, but unfortunately, that’s the case with most publicly funded districts right now. Hopefully, when enough people get involved, they’ll demand transparency and insist on doing better for their kids, the system will be required to respond accordingly by abandoning a pernicious and divisive ideology,” Kaye added.

Critical race theory is a legal and academic framework that has become a cultural focal point following the death of George Floyd as part of a national racial reckoning.

Proponents of CRT argue that race is a social construct used by dominant groups to “oppress or exploit people of color,” according to Encyclopedia Britannica.

Parents have fought over the impact of CRT on their child’s curriculum in heated school board meetings across the country over the past few years.

NEW STUDY REVEALS DEI INITIATIVES CREATE ‘HOSTILE BIAS’

“Our parent guide was created in response to the many families who have contacted us since we launched CriticalRace.org, seeking help and suggestions in navigating DEI/CRT, anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, and other phenomena in their children’s schools,” Kemberlee Kaye with CriticalRace.org told Fox News Digital. At the height of these school board battles in 2021, Cornell Law School professor William Jacobson launched the CriticalRace.org database to reveal how this ideology permeates American institutions.

The website includes information on nearly 400 colleges and universities and medical schools. The website also contains information about CRT initiatives at the nation’s top 50 elite private K-12 schools.

Like DEI, which can include prioritizing race, gender, or sexuality in hiring, training, and programming in American workplaces, CRT has received intense backlash from critics who call the ideas divisive and discriminatory.

“Critical race theory is an elite ideology developed originally at Harvard Law School that has now spread in various forms and variations to K-12, corporations, and government. Hyperfocusing and centering race is antithetical to the values of equality and treating people as individuals, not just members of a group “, Jacobson previously told Fox News Digital.
