30 Dead at the MAHA KUBH MAHA Festival in India, police say

The Kumbh Maha Festival has imprinted in the past. In 2013, at least 40 pilgrims who participated in the festival were killed in Stamped at the Moyagraj train station.

Deadly stamps are relatively common around Indian religious festivals, where large crowds gather in small areas. In July, at least 116 people died, most of whom are women and children, when thousands are at a religious gathering in northern India imprinted in a tent camp in Hathras.
