Swedish stocks fall at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.28% Investing.com
Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the decline amounted to 0.28%.
The best performers at the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST: ), which was up 2.03% or 0.90 points to trade at 43.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:) added 1.15% or 0.05 points to 4.53 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: ) was up 0.78% or 1.40 points to 181.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ABB Ltd (ST: ), which fell 1.52% or 9.20 points to 595.40 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: ) declined 0.98% or 0.70 points to end at 73.70 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST: ) declined 0.86% or 12.50 points to 1,446.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered advancing stocks on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 425 to 347, with 80 ending unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery rose 1.16% or 0.82 to $71.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.85% or 0.63 to $74.42 a barrel, while February gold futures fell 0.70% or 18.41 to 2613 $.49 per troy ounce.
EUR/SEK rose 0.12% to 11.46, while USD/SEK gained 0.48% to 11.03.
US dollar index futures rose 0.23% to 108.04.
